Pokemon Sword Expansion Pass OR Pokemon Shield Expansion Pass ( Uk - EU)

The Pokemon Sword Expansion Pass or Pokemon Shield Expansion Pass (Uk - EU) adds two parts of downloadable content to Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield. Explore two new regions, encounter additional Pokémon and discover new adventures beyond the original game. This is expansion content, not a standalone game.

One download code lets you select either the Sword Expansion Pass or the Shield Expansion Pass, not both. Nintendo digital codes are redeemable on consoles with European Nintendo Accounts. Your choice of expansion pass cannot be reversed once selected.

Two new regions to explore

The expansion pass includes Part 1: The Isle of Armour and Part 2: The Crown Tundra. Each introduces a new region with its own Wild Areas and legendary Pokémon to encounter, extending your adventure without purchasing an entirely new game.

• Over 200 additional Pokémon: catch new and returning Pokémon beyond those found in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.
• Starter Pokémon Gigantamax forms: Gigantamax all three final evolutions of the starter Pokémon available in Sword and Shield.
• Co-operative exploration: experience a new form of co-op play in The Crown Tundra.
• Legendary encounters: venture deep into Pokémon dens and encounter Dynamaxing legendary Pokémon from past games.

Choose your expansion pass

After entering the purchased download code, you will be asked to choose between the Sword Expansion Pass and the Shield Expansion Pass. The selected version is then downloaded. Check your choice carefully before selecting, as this action is not reversible.

If you want both versions, you must purchase two download codes. A single code does not grant both expansion passes.

If you already own one version

The software selection screen is displayed after you enter the code. Any expansion pass you already own is marked as Purchased and cannot be redeemed again. You can select and redeem the version you do not already own.
